| - Not impressed with the customer service. Reserved a room for two nights. THEN, read the reviews on Yelp. My mistake, hardly ever do that.... Got a rate that was in line with the bigger named resorts in the area. They didn't tell me that my 88.00 a room night had almost 45.00 in taxes, plus a 25 dollar per night resort fee. The expenses quickly got to 300 bucks. So, I simply called back reservations and cancelled. I will stay at a more modern, better reviewed resort in Scottsdale, seeing how there is not shortage of them!
Also, after posting this review I received the comment below from the manager. I have included my response to her below. It should be noted there was no additional response to date....lol.
C P: Your comment regarding my review states you have exceptional customer service. As I came to find out, you did not. Since I am the customer, I decide what good customer service is, and, what is not. In fact, I do so regularly then share my experiences with others via social interaction.
Furthermore, In deciding if "your" resort is "definitely worth the money" I WAS able to do so. You see, by reviewing other reviews on Yelp, and speaking with your customer service representatives, I determined it NOT to be "worth the money." This was after considering the following:
1 - Price and availability of specific rooms.
2 - Discounts applied.
3 - Resort fees independent of room rate and associated taxes.
4 - Information relayed to me by your customer service representatives lacking such pertinent information in regards to price, which is pretty important.
5 - Location.
6 - Amenities.
7 - Competition prices, availability and customer service.
8 - Good old gut feeling.
Furthermore, you could have messaged me personally, gathered additional details, and maybe help prevent such an incident from occurring in the future which costs you business. Instead you simply wish to point out that I didn't even give your resort a chance. That point too is null because I did give you guys a chance, and y'all blew it before I even got there. So, in the future, if you wish to actually fix a situation such as this, contact the person directly to do so. Regards....
