  • My friends from Vancouver didn't have a good time eating here. Sorry Yelp, you failed us this time. AMBIENCE: It's a take-out joint open late with a small amount of seating inside and a washroom that was out-of-order. 1/2.5 FOOD: Got a donair "salad" with just lettuce, tomato, donair meat, and a bit of sweet and garlic sauce. The meat was taken out of a container on the side, so definitely not fresh. I told the guy just a bit of sauce but I think he got a bit excited and soaked my salad in sweet sauce. It was good until I realized I was eating a swamp. My friends got beef shawarma wraps. Neither could finish theirs. I don't even know if they finished half the wrap before throwing it in the trash. According to them, the meat was terrible. One said he should have added sauce to his because of how bad the meat was, while the other said when he was asked for sauce and declined, the guy still put sauce on his wrap. Not a good look. 1/2.5
