  • In the lobby of the Flamingo... this place became a regular morning stop for me after calling room service and finding out it takes at least an hour to get coffee to your room. The ladies running this little stand are friendly. The coffee is served BOILING hot... the first day, it took me about 45 minutes before I could drink it! The second day, I knew better so asked the ladies to please put some ice in my coffee and actually didn't make it taste as awful as I thought it would. The week I was there (right after Xmas), they had these delicious Eggnog muffins... sounds gross but were actually really good and fresh tasting. But they have plenty of other flavors too and other pastries to choose from. Don't forget to tip those women making your breakfast! They saved you from waiting an hour or more to feed your hangover while you wait for outrageously priced room service. And conveniently, they're located within eyeshot of slot machines that are so lonely in the mornings.
