  • Amtrak is such a convenient method of travel, and so much more relaxing than flying. Champaign Illinois, where I often board, has a new terminal. It's nice and clean but visually boring. I miss the old train station and its architectural details and history. Perhaps I also miss my memories of that place, too. The new terminal and the trains are very clean, but sometimes I think they Herve been sanitized and the history, romance, and charm of train travel have been scrubbed away, too.
