  • Finding a new doctor's office can be really hard, and I'm relieved to find Dental on Central was the right choice. The staff (I worked today with Ashley, Natalie, and Dr. Maropis) are expert, friendly, and made me feel way more comfortable and welcome than I ever expect. Having gone for a cleaning, I was surprised and disappointed when I saw the cavity on the x-ray. Dr. Maropis showed and explained what he saw, and presented my options. No pressure, he just shared what he knew so I could make an educated decision. I decided to move forward with the cleaning and filling, and left feeling really overwhelmed (this was my first adult filling). About 5 minutes later I was convinced that the weird feeling in my mouth was the result of my not having bit down hard enough to file the filling - I called, and they told me to come on back in. No problem. When I continued to over-analyze... Dr. Maropis suggested I let the novocaine wear off and low and behold, this evening it feels great. THANK YOU for knowing not only your work but ... also this sometimes neurotic patient. :) You made the right call and I appreciate it. Finally... my mother, a retired Dental Hygenist, was surely curious. After the play-by-play, she was impressed with the story and the results. Cleaning, filling, all. She actually remembered the cavity on the x-ray and reminded me that the old office had done a sealant some time ago. So in case you were wondering about that filling: it came with a built-in second opinion, confirmed! It takes a lot to get a good review, and this office has a ton (Yelp and other sites, too). They're well deserved. Look no further!
