This was the one pick of our restaurant week selections that I was most excited about. Loved the decor and the feel of the interior. We got there before the big crowd so it was laid back relaxed and pretty quiet. The servers were on top of their game and the courses were served and a perfect pace. There was no rush to get us in and fed and out.
We had the oysters and the Cobb salad for starting course. That was the beast Cobb I've ever had anywhere. The oysters were good but were just odd to handle. The pineapple base they have is a great compliment to the heat of the JalapeƱo.
Main courses.....we had the pan seared chicken and the NY strip. The chicken and green beans were perfectly cooked, the Gorgonzola popover was over cooked and rubbery, blueberry marmalade was good though. My honey's steak was good not great and the fries were a little dry.
Desserts.....lord have mercy. Ok one of the reasons I wanted to put N&B's on the list of to do's was to try the banana pudding. Ate the whole flipping thing and dared my honey to take one solitary bite. Not really but yeah it was goooooood. I got a taste of his Key Lime tart, they aren't kidding about the tart part. Tart part...hahahaa sorry I thought it was funny.
Anywho, the guy and I have decided that this place will def be a do over spot. Try it out the food is really good and the prices on the regular menu aren't all that bad any day.
