| - As the others mention, this place is so swanky it hurts (your wallet). I'm a member of a club with reciprocal privileges, so I dropped in here for drinks one evening with some friends. My friend's beer came out to $13, after the mandatory 20% gratuity. On the plus side, all meals come with complimentary smoked potato chips and cashews, which are surprisingly delicious and refilled often.
A great server-to-patron ratio, but our waiter had a pretty chilly attitude, perhaps because I was a few decades younger than their typical clientele. The rooftop lounge is new, and quite nice - so if you can get in here, it might be worth swinging by to check out the scene. Mostly Bay Street bankers, but you'll occasionally spot a local celebrity.
Cool fact: you can get in through Scotia Plaza by walking into a discreet brown wooden door on the basement floor, next to a panel of pay-phones. It feels pretty secret-spy like, so that alone is worth the experience.
