| - Harris Grille is a great spot on Ellsworth Avenue. Upon entering the building you're greeted by a charming fireplace, which is much appreciated at this time of year in Pittsburgh. If the fireplace doesn't warm you up try a cocktail or two. There's a great list of wines, beers, cocktails, and signature specials.
Recently, a small group of friends and I experienced their Sunday brunch for the first time. We definitely intend to go back! The brunch menu itself is fun to read, so give yourself time to read it in its entirety. Its clever and quirky descriptions of menu items makes picking just one thing to eat that much more difficult. We solved that issue by each ordering a different menu item, and then sharing. Remember, sharing is caring when dining out. How else do you expect to sample a wide variety of foods in just one sitting?
The portions were generous, to say the least. The brunch included a Mimosa, Bloody Mary, or a fresh squeezed orange juice; coffee or tea, a fruit cup, and one brunch entree. Needless to say we had a to-go box or two by the end of the meal.
