At a local dog park, a Sit Means Sit customer overheard that we were meeting with Dog Trainers to have a dog become a therapy dog and not pull on a leash; he recommended their services. After reading their website, we spoke with Sit Means Sit letting them know we were referred and have met with another dog training company (provided free home consult) and we wanted to meet with Sit Means Sit to compare services before choosing a dog trainer. We scheduled an appointment but at the end of the call the Scheduler, Jennifer, stated there was a non-refundable $50.00 Reservation Fee for the Trainer, Toni, to do a home consultation. When we mentioned their website states "Free In-Home Consultation," the Scheduler said this is NOT the case, even though the Sit Means Sit Dog Training website states "Free In-Home Consultation." When we asked if they would abide by their website, they stated the $50 free is required. ---- We were extremely disappointed that their website states one thing then they communicate another at the end of our conversation. This is clearly false advertising. We hope no one else experiences this company's misleading business practices. @Gr8BizGuru
