When is consistency a bad thing? The food always tastes the same at every McDonalds location. The interior and exterior always looks the same. The service at the counter is always the same process and outcome. And I often get a messed up order at the drive through. Consistently. Regularly.
Latest example: I order a sausage mcmuffin with egg. What do I get? Egg but no sausage. That is not even on the menu! It must be a game, like "what are the chances I'll come back to get my order fixed after I have driven away?" This is a game that balances distance away vs cost of item vs annoyance factor/resignation. The staff probably bets on the outcome.
Bet on me not returning.
