More toward 2.5 stars. The people are nice and the place is clean, but the food is not as good as it was a couple of years ago. Not sure why. They've added a lot to the menu like boba tea, sesame balls, and malasadas, but it makes me wonder if they're branching out too much. (I haven't tried any of those items so can't comment on them.) I might still eat here occasionally if I'm shopping in the plaza and craving BBQ beef or saimin, but you can find better fare at some of the other Hawaiian joints in the Valley.
