Initially in-store all went well. Muhammad was very nice in assisting me. The young lady who helped me with the financial piece was very nice as well. I was very patient despite the technical issues.
This is where it went wrong......
My husband came to the store to pick up a floor model I had purchased. He stood in front of the counter, unacknowledged while a gentleman was texting on his phone. Once he got his attention, he proceeded to let the guy know he was here to pick up furniture. He was then directed to the ladies in the the office behind the counter. The ladies did not understand why my husband was sent to them so they sent him back to the front counter.
My husband let the same gentleman know he was sent back to him. By this time it had been 30 minutes in, finally a nice salesman/supervisor took charge and directed my husband to the back of the store. When my husband pulled around back, the guy who was in that area looked at him, and just said "ID?"
The lack of customer service was huge. It even a hello, please or thank you?
The second piece of furniture planned to be picked the following day at the warehouse in buckeye. This was confirmed and arranged with management. My husband went yesterday 9/25/17 at 2pm to pick up and was assisted, then being told to wait in lobby. My husband has a lot of patience, but after about 45 minutes of waiting he asked for a status update.
The lady he spoke to replied " you weren't supposed to pick up today, we had down for tomorrow but we are going to pull it early since you are here"
At that point my husband became frustrated with lack of customer service and lack of communication internally- but remained composed. Please keep in mind it was arranged by management and confirmed for pickup on 9/24 for 9/25 by my self and my husband. He then was told to pull around back as it was ready. At this time him and a relative loaded the furniture themselves as they just wanted to get out of there.
My husband told me about his experience after the fact and asked me to never buy from there again. As a manager myself, I feel that the way he was treated was extremely unprofessional. We don't expect a red carpet treatment and we are fairly patient however I am very disappointed with situation. I plan on taking the furniture back because of this.
