  • After a long drive from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh to visit a friend, we arrived in Shadyside hungry about half an hour past midnight. It was the night before the 4th of July and the kitchen was about to close. Thankfully they took mercy on us and let us place a quick order. The Build Your Own STACK'D was probably one of the most daunting food decisions I've ever had to make. And I had to make my pick very quickly. There were so many different topics that the combinations were endless. There is a burger or 50 burgers for everyone's taste. I ended up with the quarter pound beef patty on a sesame seed bun with buffalo sauce, jalapeño, banana pepper, red onion, Fritos and avocado. Of course I second guessed my choice as soon as I placed the order. It awesome. It was my unique burger. I probably would have went with a more cohesive, possibly Thai style burger had I given it more thought but you really can't go wrong. They had some bottled and draft beers as well, but since they were closing shop we just stuck to the food. STACK'D is overwhelmingly awesome.
