In Toronto I'm a regular at our foot spas. I was intrigued that there was one at every corner in Vegas and only $20?!?! How do I choose? Yelp of course. Except this one sadly was a miss.
I was excited reading the reviews that you get a short back massage with your foot massage. That's something you don't get at the ones back home. As your feet are soaking you get a little bit of a shoulder/neck rub. I enjoy strong massages so I asked for a bit more pressure. Meh, still weak.
The foot massage itself also weak. My husband and I went together and my lady kept gossiping to the male masseuse my husband had. It was however a very one sided conversation. The male masseuse didn't respond or even acknowledge her but that didn't stop her from yapping away anyway.
Onto the back massage. They ask you to flip over on the fully reclined chair. She asked if the pressure was OK. I said more please. Then I felt her mounting me from behind, straddling my arse and she was massaging my lower back with her knees. Alarm bells went off...I know we're in Vegas but I didn't order THAT type of massage did I??? Quickly said too much pressure to get her off. Then she decides a good compromise is to lean against the wall and use her FEET to massage my back! WTF!?!?! Ewwww majorly GROSS!
I ran out of that place as fast as I could, showered up and threw my clothes into the laundry. I'm sure my experience was a bit unique...lucky me...as my husband had a "normal" massage which is the only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1.
I didn't catch her name but she had short hair and it was Tuesday early evening. If you see her RUN! Unless of course you're into that sort of thing. Hey it is Vegas after all ;)
