  • We visited this museum twice, although it's been several years now. I feel the museum is a "must" when visiting Pittsburgh. To begin with, the building's interior is really attractive and we love its location near the Strip District. The permanent collection is quite interesting, and it has lots of neat stuff that provides a sense of the region's history & character. Also; the gift shop has a great selection, including some terrific books by Brian Butko (the director of publications).
