  • We really enjoyed the quaint atmosphere & friendly service we received at Galanga. I "discovered" this Thai eatery thanks to Groupon & Yelp, even though it's in the shopping center of my go-to grocery store, Smiths, on the corner of Windmill (Blue Diamond) & Las Vegas Blvd. Thank you! The Shrimp Pad Thai (10.99) was very good but a bit moist for my taste. I also missed the cilantro & lime which I like on Pad Thai. The Galanga Plate (10.99) was a combination plate with 2 each of egg rolls, chicken satay skewers, crispy wontons, potstickers and crab raviolis. Loved it! I'll return & try a different main dish next time. But I doubt if I'll be able to pass up another chance at the delicious Galanga Platter.
