man, i wish there was a zero star rating.
the result was that i was not satisfied with the result. for taking verbal abuse and manipulation by a Hertz employee, hertz was satisfied with giving me $75 towards future rentals. setting aside that apparently that's the "cost" of verbal abuse and ultimate customer loss of brand confidence.
not one $75 certificate, but THREE $25 coupons that cannot be combined. what BS.
bravo, hertz, not only could you have salvaged this horrible situation where you could have looked like a good company, you chose to hide behind your corporate structure and lose your personal and trusting feel.
this includes all your side-brands: HERTZ, DOLLAR, and THRIFTY.
