| - I went to this gem of a place today for lunch with my aunt and niece, they had been there before but I had not. I had a great sandwich called a prosciutto caprese, it had fresh mozzarella and basil on it and the bread was divine. The whole sandwich with the tomatoes and oil combined with the fresh bread, prosciutto cut perfectly, homemade (I'm guessing) mozzarella, served with broasted fries is on my top ten sandwiches I've ever had. My aunt had an Italian sub that was delicious as well, but even she liked mine better. My niece got a little bowl of spaghetti which she loved almost as much as the chocolate cake we shared after. It's a great environment, with real italian products for sale, deli items, baked goods, canolis that we took home are great too. However, there was a bald man who may have been the manager or owner that was barking orders to his employees rather rudely it seemed. Also the air conditioning must have been broken because I was sweltering, so was everyone else there. It was hard to enjoy the experience when we were sweating the whole time. The waitress was great, I think her name was Jane, i know it began with a 'J' and she had long brown hair and big beautiful brown eyes, and a great smile. She was busy but still had time to be friendly, even when the guys were ringing a bell while she was talking (very disturbing ) she got all of our orders right, got the food out fast, and recommended the Caprese when I asked her about the best sandwiches they had.
So besides the air conditioning being out or not set low enough I would go back to this place, but I'd rather order to go instead of sweating in there. I'd like to try the chicken,it looked great.
