My wife and I had been to Brio twice in 2013 and loved it both times! Unfortunately, this year was a major let down. We were quickly seated upon arrival...and that's when the speedy service came to a halt! We waited ten minutes before the server came for our drinks order. Upon receiving our drinks, we quickly placed our food order. During our wait, we received a basket of stale, old bread, which stayed at our table until we were finished with our meals...it was a waste basket by this time, but the server left it there anyway.
At this point, our expectations were low. And when our food finally arrived 35 minutes later, we were even more disappointed. My wife ordered the rather expensive Beef Medallions, which she had order before and loved. The presentation was sloppy and the food was simply flavorless! It tasted neither good nor bad. I ordered the the Carbonara...an Italian classic. It was mediocre at best. I would compare it to perfectly microwaved Marie Calendar!
I do NOT recommend this restaurant. The only good thing about our time was the conversation we shared with each other...we can pay a lot less money for good conversation.
