  • I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Hawkes. She saved my dog's life when he went into respiratory distress when he was a puppy. She cried along with me when she gave me his prognosis and warned me that he may not survive and I needed to be prepared. They had a vet tech ride with my Dad and pup and administer oxygen on the way to the emergency vet. They also called ahead so there were Vets waiting at the door when we arrived at CVS. The amount of empathy and care they showed to me during a really difficult time was incredible. After his surgeries, Dr. Hawkes called CVS to consult with Muggsy's surgeon and called me every day to give her opinion on how he was doing. I know he wouldn't be alive today without her quick care! This was almost 3 years ago and I will never forget it! For Muggsy's yearly check ups (and allergy check ups) I have gone to Dr. Hawkes and also Dr. Estes. They are both wonderful and take a ton of time to listen to my questions and give me thorough answers. I highly, highly recommend this vet.
