| - Oh yum. Oh yum oh yum oh yum.
I shall report in chronological order. First, the bread (challah and some crunchy loaf) was so soft and delicious. Came with two spreads. The tomato basil butter was so good I was tempted to lick the plate (but refrained since it was a sophisticated establishment). Second, the chianti wine was scrumptious. I could sip on that all night long.
Next, main course. I got the filet, and let me tell you, that steak cut as easily as the tomato basil butter before it. I absolutely reveled in the taste and texture of this meat. The yukon gold potato puree (fancy mashed potatoes) were also delightful and perfect to soak up some of the extra steak juice. Oh so good. Oh my gosh I will be thinking about this steak for a while. Finally, dessert. We were just browsing, but all of them looked so delicious so I couldn't say no. I got the Tiramisu. The chocolate/mocha ice cream and whipped cream were so delicious. There was then a layer of very strong espresso, which for me was too much. It all came in a cute bittersweet chocolate cup. Again, the top part was AMAZING and I would order it again just for that part. Friends got the panna cotta (devoured), coffee-infused creme brulee, and cheesecake. All good choices, all satisfied customers.
As for the vibe, very classy but not stuffy. We commented on the music selection and even shazamed a few songs. Love the interior decor, especially the woodwork on the wall that looks like waves. This meal was worth every penny.
