  • Probably the worst dealership I've ever been to in my life. I have had three separate issues with this dealership. This is by far the shadiest, most deceptive dealership I have ever dealt with, and I've bought a lot of cars. I really encourage you to read this entire review and see what kind of people you're dealing with if you buy from here: 1. I helped a friend negotiate a lease for a Mini last year. Part of the deal that was agreed to was that the dealer would cover the registration fee for the first year. We specifically negotiated the deal to require $0 out of pocket including all taxes and fees. They told us that the registration has to be done with the DMV and then get reimbursed by the dealer. After my friend picked up the car, I looked at the paperwork and there was no mention of the registration fee. Surprise surprise, when she went back to have them reimburse her for the registration fee, they had no idea what she was talking about. Imagine that! After escalating the complaint to the GM and Mini Corporate, they finally relented a couple weeks later and reimbursed her for the registration fee. Of course, I had to waste a few hours writing emails and making phone calls to get it done. Not like I have anything better to do with my time. 2. I went to look at a Jeep Grand Cherokee a few months ago and the car was in terrible condition. There were a number of parts that were Plastidipped (and they did an awful job), there were some parts missing, and the seats had stains all over them. I didn't buy the car. Thought it was pretty surprising that a Mini dealer would sell a car in that condition until I went back last week... 3. Last week, I went to look at a BMW X5M, which if you are not familiar with them, is about a $90,000 vehicle when they are new. The advertised sale price was $26k with about 80k miles on the clock, which seemed like a reasonably good deal. When I called about the car, the first thing the salesperson told me was that it was stolen from the dealership a couple of months ago. He said the car did not have a salvage title and it was recovered before being reported to the police. I said ok, that gives me some pause, but doesn't necessarily kill the deal, maybe I'll come in to take a look at it. About an hour later, the sales manager calls and says that the salesperson can bring it to my house for a test drive. I say sure that's fine, but I want to see it in the daylight so needs to be done by 4:30 PM at the latest. 3:30 rolls around, haven't heard from them, so I decide to go down and take a look myself. When I get to the dealership, they have the car parked out front. Great, let's take a look: The first thing I notice is that the back of the car is missing the parking sensor covers and one of the lights is missing a cover. The X5M emblem was stolen off the back of the car and the paint was scratched to hell, deep scratches into the clear coat. I walk around the car and the headlights were all scratched up too, and one of the front bumper sensors was bent. I walk further around the side and the rear passenger side wheel arch has AN ENTIRE PIECE OF THE CAR BROKEN OFF! You could literally grab it with your hand and pull it off the car. The salesman pushed it back together like it was no big deal. I sat inside the car and it reeked of smoke and had clearly been bombed with some kind of scent spray, but it was obvious that it was a smoker's car. It also looked like the dash had three burn marks on it from what looked like a cigar. They told me that the car just came back from the body shop because they resprayed the rear bumper. What? And the body shop didn't notice any of the other things missing/bent/broken/scratched on the car? I am simply amazed that a BMW/Mini dealership would allow this car to even be sold on their lot. They wanted to bring this car to my house! What an insult, they must think I'm an idiot! Even a blind person would have noticed all of the damage. The car should have been salvaged by the insurance company. This isn't Bob's used car lot, it's a Mini dealer! So after all of this time wasted, I go home and look at the pictures of the car online. None of the damage is shown. All of the pictures are from before the car was stolen, three months ago!!! They still have not changed the pictures to this day, December 28th. I just looked at the website again, same pictures. I called the GM last week to tell him about my experience. He wasn't available so I left a voicemail. Nobody has called me back yet. I called again this morning and left another voicemail for the GM. I'm not expecting a call back. AVOID!
