| - ** UPDATE ** I just received a call from Alan, the owner. He was very nice and forthright. This company services 1800 pools, but NOT in the outlying areas of the Valley. So, if a technician isn't that skilled or reliable, they don't have 20 others to choose from because of the smaller number of customers in the north Phoenix area. I appreciated his honesty. He waived last month's invoice and recommended another company that services a great number of pools in this area.

Finding a reliable pool service is like searching for water in the desert. Our previous pool service company was bought by AZ Pool Remodeling.
The first technician assigned, Dennis, was fabulous. He ended up servicing several pools on my street. Sadly, Dennis only lasted about 3 weeks, and he was reassigned. The next guy, Brett, cleaned the pool by chemicals, only. He had no idea what a brush or vacuum was. It resulted in having to pressure wash the cartridges about every 3 weeks.
I called the office several times. The girls would tell me that the owner, Alan, would call. He did, and said he'd send someone else. By this time, the pool was green. So, now we have Richard. Richard shows up 1.5 weeks after the last visit, so you can imagine where the pool water was headed. Richard couldn't figure out the pool equipment or how it worked. He turned every valve and shut-off 5-ways to Sunday - nothing. When he couldn't figure it out, he dumped a bucket of shock in the pool and said he'd check in the next day. Next day - no Richard - or the next day, or the next day, or the next day, or the next day, or the next day. I called the office. "Alan will call you." Then Richard calls at 7pm on a Friday night. He's had car trouble, but he'll be there in the AM. Morning comes, and guess what? YEP - NO RICHARD.
