  • 2.5 stars; it was ok but will not be back // I've always seen this bakery while shopping in the Mekong Plaza but I've never stopped in until today. Workers are very friendly and the pastries are made fresh but I personally feel like it is very pricy for what it is. $6 for a loaf of "Taro bread" but I'm not sure what's so Taro about it. Disappointed. The bread is still edible, it doesn't taste bad or anything but the flavor isn't there and it's not very moist or fluffy. I haven't tried the other breads that were purchased (Coconut loaf, Taro pastry, coffee pastry, and coffee biscuits) but I don't have very high expectations for them either.
