| - Tommy's is a yummy way to get a "food baby" going--you know when you eat a real gut bomb and your tummy sticks out like you are preggers? All burgers have tomato, mustard, pickles and chili--yes chili is standard unless you ask not to have it. However, this is not your average chili. It is more of a condiment than something you would eat as a standalone dish. Much too heavy for that, it is actually spreadable. I ordered my double cheeseburger with thousand island dressing and tomato only. My daughter had hers with the chili, mustard, pickle and tomato. The patties are super thin and yummy. I might order a triple next time because I love meat. I tried Ava's burger with the chili and found it to be quite tasty that way. However, I couldn't say as much for the fries...just your standard burger-joint fries. They are not thin and crispy like Micky D's, who make the world's best fries. I also didn't care for the chili and cheese on my fries. It didn't work as well as it did on the burger. Tommy's is greasy goodness, but I doubt I would ever make the extra effort to drive over there just for a burger or to try one of their hot dogs or (sounds interesting) a chili tamale. However, if I was REALLY hungry and underweight again, I might indulge if, and only if, I was in the area. Nice service too.
