After my friend had a rather good experience, I decided to book an appointment to get lip filler. I show up to my appointment, and since my friend needed to get a touch up on her lips, she went first. Whilst doing my friends lips the nurse pokes her self. Because of protocol my appointment got rescheduled. I totally understood; I felt bad for the nurse. I show up for my next appointment only to be told that it was going to be a different nurse. Something I wish I was told prior to my appointment. I still went ahead and did my lips. Before I continue, let me just say that the staff is amazing; they're really sweet. Post-op my lips begun to feel heavy and they felt rock hard. I was told it was normal for the first 3-5 weeks. By the 4th week I couldn't take it anymore; it felt uncomfortable. So I got a little bit of the Juvéderm dissolved. Note: they also failed to tell me that the juvéderm left in my syringe was only good for 2 weeks. And when I told them I had no idea they shrugged it off. After dissolving the lumps of Juvéderm on my lips and throwing away what was left of the product, I felt it was money thrown away. Now that they dissolved the lumps, my lips are left uneven. They chose to give me 25 dollars off my next syringe (which is still super expensive) and a free cleanser. That's it. They could've handled my situation differently.
