On May 23, 2014 I went to Artisan Dental Center to get a crown. My back molar had broken and I was going out of town. I had never been to this dentist office before. I spent over $600 on that crown. Yesterday, only a little over three years later, that crown came completely off. Turns out it was put on poorly and saliva and bacteria had been able to get under the crown into the pocket inside. I now had a small cavity that needed fixed and I had to pay another $700+ for a new same day crown at my regular Dentist. I'm very displeased. The crown should have lasted over 3 years and when it was put on they had a real struggle to remove the temporary crown that was super cemented in. There was a lot of pulling various painful tries to remove it. It seems had the put the "permanent" crown in as well as they put in the temporary one I might not have had this issue. Why you ask did I not go back to Artisan to correct the broken crown, well it is a week before my wedding and unfortunately I do not have time to take off of work or out of my evenings because I have too many things to do and I can't go without a back tooth until I get back from my honeymoon because anytime I breathed in it caused serious pain. Needless to say an added $700+ expense before my wedding was not appreciated. I also wouldn't trust Artisan to put a new one in correctly again.
