rev:text	Not much changed... after 50 plus years of professional fish keeping in all aspects of the hobby from breeding to, wholesale, import/export, retailing, commercial installations and collecting-- I know a good store, and I know a bad store. I have seen many of each. Discount Aquarium has elements of both. At times they are stellar, in tune and in touch with the aquarium hobby and world. Chis and his staff appear to be knowledgeable hobbyists and I feel they have a good grasp on modern reef aquarium science concepts , concerns, issues and advancements- and unlike big box stores are on the hobbyists side...so that's the good, the pricing on used hardware is good to excellent, and they offer a hobbyist or aquarium addict the method to keep expanding and growing their addiction or hobby...On the bad I have a had a major gripe with the store's cleanliness, tidiness and customer safety now for years. Wet floors, compromised walkways, cords running on floors, hardware stacked in dangerous ways...are all issues. Aquarium Stores are accidents waiting to happen on a good day when you pay close attention to customer safety and try to keep up with spills, and such-- Discount is lacking in organization, slip and fall mediation, and other safety concerns- it is an adventure akin to going through your grandpa's basement, barn or storage shed - so if you are up for adventure and are not afraid to dig and explore Discount is the place to go...If you are prone to slips and falls I urge you to be careful ... (Note: Chris and gang I say this with love and respect and not in a mean-spirited way but in a constructive improve the place way...get some towels, mops and wet floor signs, hire a teen to do nothing but polish glass, wipe algae and keep display tanks so you can see in them , mop the floors and you will be making it to the big time.
