I would not recommend renting these apartments. Things broke constantly and while maintenance requests where dealt with in a timely manner it became a bit ridiculous at the amount of time the maintenance men had to frequent my apartment. Doors constantly fell off, appliances broke over and over again etc etc. The office staff and maintenance staff are always very friendly but the people who live in the apartments are generally not. There were broken beer bottles left in the parking lot for over a week. Beer cans littered the parking lot every weekend. Police officers tossing their empties in the parking lot then hopping behind the wheel of their cars. Almost no one picked up after their pets apparently because I couldn't go anywhere with out smelling or stepping in it. Yet my husband was reprimanded because his work boots made the steps too dirty (God forbid someone have to work and get dirty for a living) and the maintenance staff had to clean it (which I'm pretty sure maintaining things is part of their job). The cost of living here is just not worth it. The valet trash that you have to have is often not picked up. The new internet package they are forcing people to get is more expensive than purchasing your own internet. And after living there for 15 months they wanted to raise the rent $75 for an apartment I've already been living in, which makes little to no sense. AND those damn ducks that stand in the road constantly making it impossible for you to just go home after a long day of work drove me insane. I enjoy a duck pond just as much as the next person and obviously there's no stopping them as they are wild animals but my God those ducks are annoying! It's in a nice location but still just not worth the money. Went literally right across the street and it's already $200 cheaper (and no ducks). Definitely not impressed with my 15 months living here.
