  • We have purchased the scones from the Humber Bay Shores Farmer's market and enjoyed them. A bit on the large side, but tasty and tender. Thus, we were surprised when we purchased a rhubarb/strawberry pie this weekend for the exorbitant price of $18 that the experience was so poor. The crust was very tough - tougher than I would expect from even a supermarket pie and the filling did not have much fruit. I would have expected something closer to homemade for the price (and the name of the bakery.) I will be returning the remaining half of the pie to the bakery this week to see how they respond. If the experience then is good, I may up the rating.
