Not impressed at all. I was shopping for a new recruiter to work with and met with several staffing agencies on the same day. I'm not new to working with recruiters so I know what to look for. The office was really strange when I walked in. It felt ... sterile. The reception was unprofessional (maybe inexperienced). And barely said two words. I was then taken to a small room with track lighting and sliding glass doors. Talk about uncomfortable from the get go. My references were contacted right away - but by email, which left a bad impression with them and was mentioned to me several times. I didn't hear from the company for two months. I was looking for government work - very specific about what I wanted. Very specific also about longer term jobs. I have the experience and skills to back me up on this. I didn't hear from DS for almost two months. Then I got a job offer for a day assignment in stenography. A job unrelated to my skills. I was really desperate for work when signing on with them. But within two weeks of signing on with Randstad, I had a summer contract lined up. So, in my opinion, don't deal with DS. Very unprofessional and few jobs. They care more about filling contracts than hiring the right people for the job.
Update: All I can say is listen to your intuition. I went with Randstad and took a 7 month job with them, which led me to my permanent job I have now...best decision I ever made. Go Randstad.
