| - I have been to several different beach clubs, some older ones and some newer. Rehab is always fun. However, paying $100 for a day bed umbrella is a bit much. $80 for 3 shots is a bit steep, no matter where you go. The good folks who work here are both friendly and extremely helpful. It can be tough to find the club in the first place. Make your way into the left corner of the casino and then stay left. You've gotta exit the parking lot and stay to your left. Bags that are considered over sized will need to be checked in, the charge is usually $10. Be sure to either stay in the grotto bar area or wear tons of sunscreen as there aren't many shaded areas here. THat is, unless of course you and your group are springing for a cabana. Bottle service always comes with a show of some sort. To me, the pool always looks pretty nasty in color but then I'm quickly reminded why. There's sand at the bottom of it. Beware! The 2nd step into the water is a big drop. So, be prepared for that. The restrooms are slippery as heck and they don't mop often. The daquiris are always good and by the end of 'em, you usually feel a fuzzy sensation in the tips of your toes. You can find lots of "free" tickets for the girls lying around, with guys at a reduced price. When there is a special concert, of course, that's usually a different story. I know it can be annoying when women have to "prove" that they are wearing swim attire but I can understand why they ask these things. I've noticed that they are also asking the men if they are wearing swim trunks or if what they are wearing are swim trunks. It's vegas. Honestly, there tends to be a lil F-ing in the pools no matter which beach club you go to. For a good time, get yourself on a guest list with a promoter and hope to get your entire group in free as long as you have a good ratio and get to the list line on time. It's usually always a good time here and as mentioned earlier, everyone who works here is usually happy and very friendly. Just be wise, drinks are pricier here than usual, I feel.
