  • So I've stayed here tons before. This was my last stay, however. The place has become shoddy and unkempt, no basic repairs from the last time I've visited. I avoided the pool, but did look at it and it was not cleaned. The bartender told me to sod off when I asked for quarters for a parking meter because he didn't have time, despite the one customer sitting at the bar. The maid twice caused issue with the elevator, once pushing her way in when I was trying to get out on the lobby floor, instead of simply letting me out and then getting in, and another time when she was talking on her cell in the hallway and decided when the doors were closing to push her way in to go to a different floor instead of waiting for the next ride after we'd exited. Valets were all very good, and security was extremely polite, however. The noise from the club was expected, but even on the fifth floor it was thumping through the bed and pillow right into my brain. If you plan on sleeping at night, this is not a place for you. The location is on strip club drive (highland), and you can't really go anywhere without a vehicle. If you call a cab, which you have to do yourself, they won't do it for you, then it can take anywhere from 5-20 minutes to arrive, so plan accordingly. I personally won't be staying here again unless they remodel. I used to enjoy the steak and eggs breakfast, but that wasn't possible with the restaurant closed due to chef personal issues. The restaurant is closed completely except for special events. It's really just a bar and afterhours club with a topless pool that happens to have rooms to stay for when people hook up.
