  • I like shopping at Vons for a quick "run to the grocery store" but honestly I tend to stay away from some of the stores due to the shortage of cash registers that are open. Nonetheless, my kids love the donuts here and just recently they started making Cronuts ( a donut and a croissant morphed together). You get four fresh Cronuts in a box for $5 and they can be found in the bakery. I peruse the Organic fruit and vegetable section for healthy snacks and cut up prepared vegetables for stir-fry or soups which are always found at this store. I love their Organics label flavored white and mint ice-tea. It use to be .99 and now it's a bit over a dollar. They have other black teas in various flavors and they come in a glass bottle that's easy to drink out of and recyclable. They use to carry more yummy Organics items like the chocolate covered berry ice cream bars but sadly cannot find them anymore. If you didn't buy anything quick to prepare the Panda Express is located inside the store near the exit so a box of take-out noodles and orange chicken somehow always makes it in my basket. The one thing that always brings me back to Vons is the fabulous customer service and the friendly employees that always ask if you need help. Overall a nice clean store to shop. My only complaint is that they never have enough registers open.
