Loved this. What a great place. So much great history in music.
I love that they give you a headset when you walk in (if you are like me and hate over-the-ear style, call ahead and see if you're plug-style will work with this). Many of their displays have audio and it's so interesting to see/hear some of these things being played.
We spent 3 hours there and still didn't see everything. Every country, every instrument, every style of music you can possibly think of - and stuff you didn't know existed.
Plan on spending a lot of time. It really is a lot to soak in, maybe tour a couple of hours then have lunch at their cafe and take a mental break before you finish up (we did not eat there, but I usually love museum cafes).
I say you should GO!
