  • We went to this store on November 12, 2016 to purchase a nightstand to match the king size bed we already purchased. This nightstand was marked $280.99. The salesman took the paperwork contained in a plastic advertisement sitting on the dresser of the bedroom set to the front of the store and prepared the paperwork. He advised we would have to pick up the piece at their warehouse in buckeye or pay $100 to have it delivered. We opted to pick it up. We get home with the piece and unwrap it to set it up in our home and the nightstand is much smaller than the one we ordered and didn't have the details that matched our kingsize bed we already owned. We called the warehouse who advised us that they sent us home with the right nightstand. So we called the store who told us the same thing. Only they were not going to allow us to return the piece for either a refund or the correct piece we ordered. We loaded the wrong nightstand into our car and went to the store where they proceeded to show us the nightstand we "supposedly" ordered. This nightstand was much smaller than our kingsize bedroom set required and was located in the children's department with all the twin size beds. An area we most certainly did not shop in. And most shockingly, the nightstand was marked $173.99. So somehow they managed to order the incorrect night stand we didn't even look at but managed to charge us the additional $100+ dollars for the one we actually looked at? After much arguing, I went to the car because I was so infuriated, they let us leave the incorrect nightstand and we left with the floor model of the one we actually wanted. I still feel ripped off because we essentially left with a used floor model for the price of a new nightstand. But at least I'm not stuck with a children's nightstand and I've learned a valuable lesson: DO NOT SHOP AT MEGA FURNITURE, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND NOT FEEL BAD ABOUT IT OR BE ABLE TO EXPLAIN IT.
