  • I have been wanting to try this place for a while and finally ducked in for lunch with a friend. My first thought was - this place is beautiful! Bright colours on the walls, beautiful tiled floor - it reminded me of Cuba. I normally don't care about the aesthetic of the place but this one really stuck out to me. Food - I ordered the cochinita - pulled pork with fried plantains and refritos - so incredibly juicy, and the fried plantains didn't make the sandwich greasy at all. My friend ordered the nopales sandwich which had a serious kick to it! We also got the paitas con chile on the side - because all sandwiches should be eaten with chips. The papitas were good but I wish the hot sauce was hotter. I will definitely be back!
