| - Not a bad place to visit and gamble, but the hotel leaves much to be desired. Rooms are rather older - needs a major renovation. Our room (park view upgrade) didn't even have a safe - and according to the front desk, a room with a safe is another $30 / night. Also, beware the ridiculous resort fee - and for what you may ask??? This hotel has no real unique amenities to justify this. I've stayed at much nicer hotels on the Las Vegas strip without incurring such a fee - just a ridiculous service fee that is embedded in their fine print. I take responsibility for not reading that fine print in enough detail - but they certainly make every effort to "hide" it from the casual person. And you may say - well, at least the resort fee includes Internet... Well, NOPE - they nickel and dime you for that as well - $10 PER DEVICE (yes, PER DEVICE) for a decent connection. And of course, they advertise their other wonderful "amenities" such as the on site restaurants (Friday's, Dunkin Donuts, Panda Express, McDonalds to name a few).. Well, I encourage you to actually visit one of them - at any given time, the McDonalds and Dunkin were grossly understaffed - and now you get the pleasure of waiting longer for your "fast food" than at a full service restaurant. I would probably visit here to gamble again.. but the hotel is a rip off and you can do much better on the strip... Add their "rip off" resort fee - you can actually get a better deal from a price standpoint on the Strip.
