I was walking by, after a tough day at work, and wandered in. Was greeted by a girl with a big smile and offer to help. I wandered around the store looking at all sorts of yummy treats, and then saw a barrel with Mary Janes (the 100-year-old peanut-taffy candy). I haven't seen this candy in a bajillion years. I fished out one Mary Jane, and the smiling girl asked again if she could help me. I asked how much was a Mary Jane. She said "Well, generally we weigh them." I said "OK, would you weigh this?" She said, "You just want one?" I told her yes, and she said "You know what? You can have it!"
It was such a nice thing! How often does someone give you a piece of candy? Especially at the end of a tough day. It was so awesome. Thank you, Popcorn Girl! :)
