| - We arrived on a sweltering spring day in May searching for a fun way to cool off. As a resident of Cuyahoga Falls, and a person who has frequented Water Works since I could walk, I was aware of the discounted price, so we headed out early Thursday afternoon.
One thing to keep in mind: even if you go during the week when most are at work, it'll all matter little on a sweltering day of 90'F+. We were reminded of just that: a decently sized, but not unreasonable crowd waiting to enter when we arrived. Though there were any patrons, it was not but 5 minutes or so for us to receive our ticket, and enter the park. Although there were large crowds, the park still afforded many reasonable spots to sit and store our things.
As always, Water Works Family Aquatic Center offers much in the way of fountains, slides, fun decorations and more for any youthful patrons to admire. For the adults, it's easy to find a place to lay out under the sun, relax in the lazy river, or enjoy a nice dip in the pool with the kids.
The food and their prices are what I would consider pretty reasonable: $3 nachos, $2 hotdogs, $1 pretzels, and more; and the quality is also acceptable. However, if one doesn't wish to suffer a slight markup on food and drinks Water Works employs, one may instead bring with them his/her own food to enjoy.
All in all, if your looking for a relatively cheap way to cool off and have fun with the entire family, look no further than Water Works Family Aquatic Center! With $7 admission for Cuyahoga Falls residents, and $15 for non, Water Works offers you great value with tons to enjoy and loads of fun to be had. I highly recommend it!
