| - This business goes ABOVE & BEYOND! If it were not for their efforts to call Progressive Insurance's bluff, I would NOT have job today. Plus, my car looks new and, when I picked it up, it had been thoroughly washed and detailed, which allowed me to hit the road immediately. Finally, I had to pay my bill in 2 parts because Wells Fargo would NOT let me go over my maximum daily limit on a DEBIT CARD. This was beyond infuriating, so Major League Collision allowed me to pay it over the course of 2 business days. Yay!
Allow me to explain:
1. I am a FT Uber/Lyft driver
2. I have not been able to work for 3 weeks because my sedan was T-boned by an SUV. I was NOT at fault and the perpetrator got a traffic violation.
3. The other perpetrator's insurance, "Progressive" (such irony!), wanted to total my 2006 Toyota Corolla Sport that I paid off 2 years ago. It took me 6 years to pay it off! It was in GREAT working order, as I keep up with maintenance RELIGIOUSLY.
4. Progressive offered my $5K for my car's worth or $3K AND a salvage title. I have POOR CREDIT due to Chapter 7 and cannot get financing on a comparable car even with $5K down. In order to buy a car, I would have to purchase BRAND NEW, OFF-THE-LOT with POOR LOAN TERMS with only the hope of refinancing at a later date. Basically, I would be a slave to a car for 5-10 more years. The car would own me. This offer benefited Progressive--not me. And the wreck wasn't even my fault.
5. I cannot drive for Uber/Lyft with a Salvage Title.
6. I cried.
7. Major League came to my rescue and talked to the Progressive insurance agent, who had a change of heart.
8. Enterprise Rent-a-Car is across the highway and Major League offers a free shuttle service!
9. Result: Three weeks later, I got my vehicle repaired and it looks brand new; Plus, I kept a CLEAN TITLE, and pocketed $800.
Oddly enough, this worked out in my favor. I love living the silver linings in life, and Major League made this happen! I give them my VERY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.
