  • Dr Kokmeyer saved my hand! I was involved in a rollover UTV accident and nearly lost my hand. When I first saw my hand, i was convinced I was going to lose it. Dr. Kokmeyer was on duty at UMC Trauma that day and not only saved my hand, but I have almost full use of it again. I can't thank him enough for not only putting my had back together, but saving my career. Gifted, talented, and knowledgeable. His bedside manor isn't the greatest (he sometimes talks a little above my head)....but his ability and confidence are exactly what I needed. Also, the physical therapy I received from Sylvie at his office was unmatched. She pushed me to my limit and made my recovery that much more achievable. Yes....it hurt! But in a good way, and I am almost able to write again. If you have hand surgery needs, the team here is where I would take my family if I needed them put back together. If you saw my hand back in November to where it is now, you wouldn't believe it! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!
