  • Our experience later in the day on a Thursday was close to heavenly, 5 stars. I hope it can stay that was as we plan to come back. We did not know about this place but we had received a $50 coupon in the mail and thought, why not!? Booked was a couple's massage. We go for these quite regularly and have a few other spas in Calgary to be able to compare this one to. Male owner, not seen on site. Women run the whole spa which is beautifully maintained and spotless. Different seating areas, fireplaces, almonds and chocolate covered raisins to snack on. Infused water (orange slices today) was available, teas and espresso. I must say, I was impressed by the array of products that were for sale in the front by the check in/out area. AND it was less expensive than some other salons I have seen at the Mall! Tons to choose from and try. Tons of Moroccan oil products which I adore. The front desk staff was indifferent really but our RMTs were great and made us feel very welcome and showed us where everything was. There are no facilities for men other than a washroom. Woman have use of showers and a sauna. No whirlpool. Apparently, we were told that not many men come to this spa, I was a bit surprised at this as the place is worth coming to! In the couple's massage room, there is a fireplace, comfy massage tables, spa music, seating area, beautiful sheets, soft blankets and a shower with 2 spray heads in it for convenience to get all that massage oil off of you. Fluffy towels are left by staff for you and if you want to wash your hair in the shower, indulge in the Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner! The washrooms do have a few amenities like combs, deodorant and make up remover wipes but if you are going out afterwards, you may need to pack a few things of your own. Our hour on the tables seemed to go by very quickly. We arrived early for our appointment but had a bit of paperwork to fill out as it was our 1st time there. I just hope the staff fulfilled our hour as we forgot to keep track. It was not THE best massage I have ever had pressure-wise but I have no complaints about what I did receive re relaxation techniques. We enjoyed being practically the only people there for max chilling in the sitting room after our treatment. (weekends we were told = different story, we will avoid!) It was a real treat here and we both left feeling quite good afterwards without a care in the world. And we smelled amazing too of course! Money well spent.
