When I bought my 2015 F350 in 2016 it had only 8000 miles on it. I have had no mechanical problems but I paid a steep price for the truck that I wanted I did not get a great price. When the key was turned over to me there was only one key and I asked if there was another and I was told that the original owner only turned in one key. The key that I was given was not the admin key it had no power to change the safety settings that you might set for a teenager like how fast the truck can go or how loud you can turn the radio up. Once I got the truck I realize that all of these safety features had been enabled to the lowest degree the truck wouldn't go faster than 75 the radio would only go half volume. Replacement keys are about $275 each and at the time I was not prepared to pay that for another key and so I just dealt with it for a while. When I was playing with the GPS and press the home key I found the address for the previous owner I reverse looked him up and called him and ask him if he found the other key. He responded that he had returned them both when I asked about the limits on the speed and the radio he denied ever having set any of them. My theory is that it is probable or possible that tindol Ford set those limits and did not provide me with an admin key in an attempt to force me to buy a key from them in which case they would have sold me my own key back this is just a theory but buyer beware. Don't let it happen to you
