My review is only for the pastries because I'm very "meh" toward bread alone (major sweet tooth!)
I bought a black pepper lemon zest shortbread and a chocolate rye cookie for $3. While the shortbread had a great bite, it was forgettable to me, as it tasted like any other shortbread cookie. But the highlight was definitely the chocolate rye, which was soft and chewy with just the right amount of moisture and sweetness. The chocolate chips added a bit of crunch throughout. The chocolate was strong but not overpowering, and the vaguely sour and spicy notes of rye shone through. Absolutely amazing. It was also HUGE - probably around 4-5 inches in diameter! It completely filled me up for about 5 hours (in conjunction with the shortbread cookie).
I would go back several times to try all of their pastries, even ones that aren't novel like croissants, simply for the taste.
