| - I'm not sure if it's just me but, i find the food that they serve at their hot table, tastes pretty nasty.
This is my 5th time coming here for food and I've had enough. I thought I was ordering at the wrong hours of the day, but the food still tastes foul each time.
The rice and meat taste like it wasn't washed or marinated prior before being cooked, and there is so much fat and BONE mixed in with the actual meat.
The fried rice is bright yellow, it looks like they soaked it in egg yolk and didn't actually fry it. The shrimp tastes like it was jus snatched from the lobster and dropped into the finished (egg yolked) rice. The sweet and sour and the lemon chicken sauce is so THICK, it looks like it's been sitting out for hours.
Something is terribly wrong with the way the food is being stored OR you guys keep making too much for one day, then by the end of the night you put it in the fridge, then re-serve the leftovers the following day. And then the process is repeated with that same cooked food for eternity.
Now, I'm sure the shopping experience here is good which I don't doubt. Otherwise, the fake security guy that stands at the end of the cash register conveyor belts wouldn't be there. He's probably the owner of the store who's just very paranoid or he thinks that we're actually intimidated by him. Or, he's watching over the girls working the register. If they screw up, he takes out the whip and gives them a lash on the back.... sorry, back to the original topic.
This review is not to bash the T&T franchise in any selfish way and the staff is great but your food is disgusting and something needs to be done.
Unless you're accustomed to eating horrible tasting, stomach upsetting, constipation food. DON'T EAT FROM THE HOT PLATE.
1 STAR for making the food look appealing.
