rev:text	Updated review 9/30 So my love for their furikake chicken is unwavering. I always accompany my meal with a some shoyu poke which tastes oh so good. Swear every time perfectly done, fresh taste. Definitely one of my go-to's for poke and only place I trust for furikake chicken. Just recently went in and sat down and got served by Sunshine, if I recall correctly and no doubt loved her service. My meal was perfect again with my aforementioned meal consisting of said furikake chicken and a 1 pound of shoyu poke "appetizer". Loved the crunchy, flavorful, perfectly seasoned chicken and both meals had a simple arrangement with a very flavorful and great tasting kick. I have to thank Sunshine because when I originally ordered I had forgotten to ask for my mother's opakapaka to be broiled instead of sautéed... I asked her and she said her food was being plated, but that it would be no problem and they ended up remaking it which I greatly appreciated. After my mother's surgery she'd been advised to cut down on oil and therefore broiled was the way to go. And I have to tell you the aroma off the opakapaka was phenomenal. I love my raw fish, but have to admit when that plate of broiled opakapaka came out, I wanted to to take it from my mom lol... I did end up tasting it and by far I can say it will be the onlyyyyyy cooked fish I would not mind eating here in the valley. I'm not a cooked fish fan (whether it's fish tacos, fried fish, baked fish), but this definitely made me reconsider that choice. All in all thanks to Sunshine and the other servers who were just kind and attentive, thanks to the cooks for such great fare. Thank you Island Flavor for everything, definitely 5 stars!
