| - After moving to Downtown Toronto, I was looking for a Group Fitness facility. Being a young professional and a lifelong athlete, I was looking for a facility that valued effective and efficient workouts, had a focus on technique and was in walking distance to my apartment. For my first workout, (which was free), I was greeted - by my name- as I walked in for the workout. The trainer took interest in my workout background and throughout the class made sure that I understood how to perform the exercises properly, being very precise in his corrections and explaining the reasoning behind them. The workout was split into mobility and stretching to start, then some strength exercises & a conditioning workout to end. Suffice to say, I felt exhausted and energized afterwards. Not only was I impressed with the training but the facility was clean, well-thought out (using the space effectively for the different exercises) & had some rockin' tunes.
After that first workout, I went home and bought the 12 month membership and haven't looked back. I was set up on a Fuel Plan (took body fat percentages, created goals, etc.) and just had my follow up 3 months later showing great results. I have incorporated coming to Fuel into my lifestyle (attending at least 5 class per week) and look forward to attending class. There is a great community surrounding Fuel from the motivating trainers to the awesome classmates. The price is well worth the value you receive, as the trainers are experienced and well educated, the small class sizes and focus on personalized customer service. I highly recommend Fuel to anyone who is looking to improve their overall health and lifestyle.
