| - We liked the fact that our salesman wasn't pushy, yet kept the search and the sale moving forward and that my kids were able to plug in their electronic devices and could access the guest wifi.
When we got there, we came for a specific vehicle - the only 2017 Expedition with 4WD left on the lot. The salesman that met us when we drove in knew the specific one we were talking about, and thought he had just seen it go out on a drive. We checked where it should be, and sure enough, it was out. We saw it come back in and a family of three come out of it. We stood back a respectful distance while their salesman showed them the vehicle. We asked our salesman specific questions, and more than once expressed our thoughts that it was a bust anyway, as this other family seemed very intent on purchasing it. Each time, our salesman just asked us to stick with him, to go ahead and look inside of it and to go ahead and test drive it - even as we saw the other family filling out paperwork for it inside.
We were certain the vehicle was gone, but because of John's gentle persistence to just move forward, even to the point of filling out paperwork while the other family was still doing the same, we eventually got the vehicle! I watched as the other family walked away from it. We were very pleasantly surprised, and realized that John understood his business better than us, and by simply keeping us moving forward, we were able to drive home with our new vehicle that night!
We appreciated the fact that everyone was there until well past 10pm, helping us get the deal done. Kim, our finance rep, was with us very late, and I was very surprised to see her bright and early the next morning when I stopped in to drop off the title to my (very) old Expedition. Kim and John both showed a sense of pride for working not just with Ford, but specifically at Friendly Ford. They were both awesome!
