  • I have been a customer here for 20 years. As city-owned facilities go, Southland Leisure Centre is fine. It is generally clean and well-managed. I play squash here. I swim here. I work out here. I have even played pickleball here. My kids attended summer camps here for several years and never once came home in tears. Nor was there even an incident in which they did not want to go to camp. I am happy they upgraded the lighting in the squash courts. I happy that they allowed teams from the Calgary Interclub Squash League to play here. I am satisfied that their fees are fair and offer fair value.
